ABOUT THE ARRANGEMENT:
A classic hymn arranged beautifully for
Trumpet and Piano. The trumpet carries the melody throughout the
beginning of the arrangement, leading into a key change with the
piano exchanging the melody with the trumpet. Mr. Lanier builds the
middle section using counterpoint, giving a baroque feeling to the
interaction between the piano and trumpet. The arrangement ends with
a transition into the final key change, emphasizing the grandeur of
the song.
